Just a little reminder from Snapperz Grill & Steam Bar, in case you haven’t heard, we’re the undisputed home of the Crystal Coast Steam Pot. “Art from the Heart” in Morehead City!
Do you like browsing local art and purchasing originals from upcoming artists in the region? Well, if so, we recommend checking out the 22nd Annual “Art from the Heart” show in Morehead City, North Carolina (not too far down the road from Snapperz!).
Located in Units 6 & 7 at the Morehead Plaza next to Art Escapes, this is a two week exhibit from February 17th through March 3rd, 2012. If you’re an art lover, the exhibition is a great time, and it’s definitely worth supporting our local and regional artists from Carteret, Craven, Onslow and Pamlico Counties. View and buy original oils and acrylics, pastels and drawings, water media, mixed media, photography, computer-generated art; as well as glass, stone, fiber arts, jewelry, woodwork and other three-dimensional artwork. Proceeds benefit the artists and the Arts Council of Carteret County (ACCC). Admission is free.

Stop by Snapperz after Mardi Gras on Middle Lane in Beaufort!
Come on in, even if you still have your masks and costumes on! We hope you’ll join us for dinner at Snapperz Grill & Steam Bar after the Mardi Gras Festivities this weekend…
The parade and festivities are taking place in Beaufort on Saturday, February 18th on Middle Lane from 2 PM to 6PM. Low country & fiddle music by Gumbo Lily will welcome party-goers beginning at 2PM on the outdoor stage. Costumed “krewe” will be competing for prizes in parade down Middle Lane at 3 PM. They’re offering face painting and mask making for the kids under tents. Boules and cornhole contests will be going on, and Blue Moon Jazz will be playing a signature blend of jazz, blues, and dance music throughout the afternoon.
Even if you grab a bite at the Festival, Snapperz is a great place to unwind in our laid back cozy atmosphere!
